Martin Kuppinger's EIC 2016 summary

10 years EIC our European identity and cloud confirmed. We had more people here than ever. We had fantastic discussions. We touched a number of new topics, but clearly it was also again about best practices. So leadership and in the best practice area, we had some very interesting, compelling presentations around how do we really solve our identity management problems. On the other hand, when we look at the new topics, there was one very, very hard topic which was blockchain or distributed lecturers and their impact on identity. On security. The use cases C are very intensive discussion.

On the other hand, from an identity management perspective, there was a lot of talk around extending identity and access management to the consumer consumer identity and access management is really one of the hot topics, which is not only managing the authentication of users. It's about really integrating the CRM and the identity and access management to perfectly serve the customer and to mitigate all the risks. So these were some of the very hot topics. I think we did again, a very, very great conference.
